Rétina Montarnaud Concert, March 2012

"Mille Choeurs pour un regard" is the premier choral event in our country. It allows as many choirs and choral groups as possible—whether performing alone or in collaboration—to volunteer their time to perform their repertoire—whether operatic, sacred, popular, or other—at concerts held throughout France to benefit medical research in ophthalmology.

Thus, on Saturday, March 24, 2012, a concert was held in Montarnaud in the Hérault department, bringing together three choirs for the occasion:

• Cantagarrigue from Puéchabon, conducted by Françoise GOMEZ
• Acqueduc de Montferrier, conducted by Jean-Marie JOUVENEL
• Les Garrigues de Saint Bauzille de Montmel, conducted by Gur BONNET and Thierry RAUX
• At the end of the concert, the three choirs performed two songs together, united by their shared passion for singing.
