Les Garrigues Choir's 2015–2016 Season Kickoff

The “Les Garrigues” choir will resume rehearsals on Friday, September 4, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at the community center (or at the Salle de la Forge, Rue du Claus de la Dame) in Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel. The musical program features a varied repertoire (religious songs, traditional songs, original compositions, etc.), partly accompanied by our musician friends from the Vitapassion ensemble.

Planned for this year’s repertoire: “Gabriel’s Oboe” by The Mission (Ennio Morricone), “Shto mi e milo” (traditional Macedonian song), a suite of Occitan bourrées, a Negro spiritual, “Lo Boièr” (Occitan traditional), “Libera me” by Camillo Moser, ...as well as Vivaldi’s Credo RV591 and Verdi’s “Va, pensiero”…

The choir is recruiting for all voice parts, seeking both those with prior singing experience and beginners willing to commit to training within the group.For further information, please contact:
